Hack Flat Handicap.— Kni Iwi Lady, Bst 131b; Stray shot and Bowshot, Bst 121b; Ascot Vale, 8st'lllb; Napoleon, Tonganui, and Sedgebrook, 7st 91b ; Tomboy, 7st 81b ; Huiakama, Buckley's Chunce, Antrim, Zeph, Raupo, Mutual, and Lord Vivian, 7st 71b. Auckland, 14th May. Mr. M' Bride states 'hat he has instructed his solicitor to take proceedings againat the Anokland Trotting Olub for defamation of character. He also claims first money in the Easter Handicap, as it is alleged Edwards, the owner of Three Cheera, has been disqualified for one month by the Canterbury Metropolitan Trotting Association. The totalisator dispnte in the Maiden Trot is to be enquired into.
