At O'Neill's road crossing, two sleopors • wore so placed that if one did not derail it [ the other would be successful in doing so. • It was scarcely the work of children, as the L Bleepers were 100 heavy. One was placed ; with tho end down on tho hollow of a cattle I guard, with the other end projecting so as » to catch the wheels of the engine. Mr. ; T. H. White, passing, saw tho obstruction, , and removed it before the passage of tho ¦ train, and informed the police.
