Inglis, legal manager of the 1 Alpine Gold Mining Company, died of dropsy ¦ at 4 o'clock this morning in Reefton Hospi1 tal. He had been ailing a long time, and had 1 undergone several operations. Deceased was ' a very old pioneer of the West Coast and had \ resided at the Lyell 20 years. He leaves a wife and grown-up family. Ho was 54 years ; old, and will be buriod on Wednosday.
