MISS TREHAIR-OSBORNE' S CONCERT.

The sixth annual concert given by Miss Trehair-Osborne in this city took place last evening in tho Opera, House, which was fairly filled in the upstairs portion of the house, whilst tho stalls and pit were quite full. The performers, all of whom were MissOsborno's pupils, were claa^ in fancy costumes, which lent an air of picturosquoness to the stags scenes. Tho majority of the chorus wore a kind of gipsy costume, but of what particular period or nation it wonld be difficult to determine. The singing of tho various choruses and glees was very creditable, particularly that of the Anvil Chorus from " Trovatore " and tho concluding glee, " Peacefully Slumber." They would, however, have gone better if tho tenor and bass voices had been numerically stronger. Mrs. Burfort, who has a good but not particularly powerful contralto voice, sang the solo allotted to Azucena in the Anvil Chorus," and also Lazarillo's portion of the trio " Turn on, Old Time " (" Maritana ") with much caro. Miss Samuel agreeably surprised hor friends by her acting as well as her singing in the Jewel Song from " Faust," as also in the duet "Ah ! che la morte." Miss Trohair-Osborno was heard to great advantage in the duet" Bella Napoli," which she sang with Miss Par3ons. Mr. Watson, who was understood to make his first public appearance last evening, possesses a small but decidedly sweet tenor voice, which he used effectively in the trio "Turn on, Old Time," and also in the " Trovatore " duet. Of his acting, however, it is as well to say nothing. Other songs were given by Misses Mouatt, Johnson, and Stcele, Mrs. Norris Bell, and Messrs. W. Parsons, Loonard, and Norris Bell. The concert reflected credit upon the lenefidarc for hor tutorship of tho performers. An organ and pianoforte supplied by Mr. F. J. Pinny were used.
