Consols remain at 100$, and New Zealand securities as follows:— s per cent. 10-40 loan, 104J ; 5 per cent. 1889 loan. 104J ; 4J per cent. 1879-1904 loan, 98|; 4 per cent, inscribed stock., 101. The market rate of discount has fallen to If, and is now f below the Bank rate. The markets for colonial breadstuffs and tallow are without quotable change. At the wool salo to-day, 11,600 bales were catalogued. The market continues firm. The Homeward mailß, per Orient steamship Garonne, from Melbourne 10th July, were delivered via Brindisi to-day.
