-— — ? TO THE EDITOR. Sib — Nearly all the papers in the colony are blaming Sir Julius for giving up the reins to Mr. Stout, and including Messrs. Montgomery and Macandrew ; but, for the life of me, I see nothing to grumble about. Sir Julius, as Treasurer, &c., with preoedenco. is the main spring of the machinery, and will most likely rule the roost. If all the members of the Cabinet belonged to one province, and they were men with the good of the country at heart, they ought to get a trial. I believe, sir, that this will be the programme par excellence that will be put forward this time, and if the new Government get beaten, then I am sorry for the country. The only way would be for the Governor to dissolve the Houae again. Then Sir Julius and Major Atkinson could oppose every constituency in the country. I believe the only cure for the dreadful siokneas of thit country ia the "hair from the dog that bil you." lam, &c, Doctoe,
