Mrs. Hampson laid the foundation stone of a new building for the Sydney Young Men's Christian Association to-day. Five thousand persons were present, and much enthusiasm was displayed on the occasion. Melbouune, 27th October. Private advices from Fooehow state that the tea market has bow virtually closed. It is estimated that the export of tea to the colonies this season will bo five millions of pounds less than last year. It has now been definitely decided that an Australian team of cricketers shall proceed to England next year.
