There was a good attendance at the weekly euchre tournament and dance on Saturday evening. The prizes were won by Mrs H. Hoskins and Mr E. H. Rowell. After supper, the usual dance was held, music being supplied jfrby Mr Les. Everest. A Monte Carlo - waltz was won by Mr C. Bennett and Mrs Les. Everest. Mr Stan Bennett was M.C. NEWS AND NOTES The week-end was a good one for , anglers and several good bags were

secured in the Selwyn and L 2. A fine fish weighing 14Ub. was caught by Mr A. Meßean in the L2. SCHOOL PICNIC The school picnic to Pleasant Point was held on Friday. A large muster of parents as well as children made the trip and a very enjoyable day was spent.
