HOCKEY SUB-ASSOCIATION
CONSTITUTION ADOPTED,
AFFILIATION WITH MAJOR BODY,
A meeting of delegates to the Ellesmere Ladies' Hockey Sub-Association was held at Southbridge yesterday, the Rev. N. Friberg presiding.
A set of rules was adopted which provide, in part, that the Sub-Associa-tion shall consist of the Dunsandel, Southbridge and Leeston Clubs and any other clubs which may subsequently be formed in Ellesmere or Springs counties. The president of the Sub-As-sociation is to be the president of one of the clubs, and its centre is to be the domicile of the club to which the president for the time being belongs. Three delegates from each club will form the committee.
The remaining rules govern the registration of players, club colours and referees, and the conduct of competition matches. The secretary, Mr F. A. Strack, was authorised to register the Sub-Associa-tion with the Canterbury Ladies' Hockey Association.
