I A garden Party in aid of th^^^H Liverpool Fund was held ?||^H| Henderson's,1 «4 Glencairn,'|^^n| Thursday afternoon. . it was organ-1 ised by the Brookside Red Cross! and was very succesful in the results achieved namely £16, and gifts to the value of over Mrs Henderson's is an ideal place for a function of this kind, and the afternoon was spent very pleasantly in games and competitions. The art I gallery was a source of interest and j Aunt Sally and hoop-la caused a] good deal of amusement. A cake given by Miss McMillan brought in the sum of £7, and a doll; the gift of Mr J. S. Boag and dressed by Miss Williams, also brought in a good sum. Sweets and afternoon tea were well patronised.
During the afternoon songs were sung by Mrs F, Barnett, Misses N. McMillan. N 'Chamberlain, Henderson, Gladys Brooks and a recitation by Myra Brooks.
