CLYDE FIRE BRIGADE.

The annual meeting of the above was held on Monday last. Present - Capt. Holloway (in the chair), Lieut. Smart, Secty. Wright and Firemen A. Waddell, W. Waddell, J. Robertson and G. Uren.

The Captain’s report re Auckland Demonstrations was read and received. The minutes of the last annual meeting were read and confirmed, and the balancesheet, showing a credit balance of £l-0-7 was read and adopted. The following oflice-bearers were elected —Captain—W. Holloway, Lieutenant—E. Smart, Secretary & Treasurer—R. Smart. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded Fireman Wright for the use of bis room, lights, fire etc. The secretary was Instructed to write to the secretary of the Association rc 3 years Service bars, to which the members were now entitled,.

The question of raising funds was left in the hands of the Captain and secretary.
