THE CREW OF A SCHOONER LOST.
CnmsTCHUiicir, This day.
The Sarah W. Hunt, a schooner of 110 tons, arrived in Lyttelton on Saturday night from Campbell Island, about 100 miles from New Zealand. Thirteen out of tho fifteen men on board left in boats to hunt for seals, and, bad weather coming on, never returned. The captain and steward, who were left to manage a vessel of more than a hundred tons, did their best _to discover what had become of the missingcrew, hut the weather was against them, and they had to leave. Alone and unaided these two men navigated the schooner to Lyttelton, where she arrived on Saturday night, Whether the crew were lost, or are still on the island, is at present unknown, but no doubt efforts will be made to discover their fate, and to rescue them if still alive.
