At to-day's sitting of the Reichstag the proposal submitted by Prince Bismarck for the establishment of an Economic Council of the Empire was finally discassed. The Chancellor in a lengthy speech, warmly advocated the adoption of the proposal, but, after a further debate, the same was rejected by the Reichstag by a considerable majority.
