Iv the Chamber of Deputies to-day the vote to cover tbe expenses of the Tunisian campaign was passed after slight opposition. In the course of the debate M. Gambetta took occasion to refer to the benefits likely to arise from the European control of Egypt, and spoke in favor of the same.
