ALL SAINTS' CHURCH BAZAAR.

A MEETINO- of the committees, formed for the purpose of making arrangements for a bazaar, was held yesterday afternoon, at St. Paul's Schoolroom. The Rev. C. M. Nelson occupied the chair, and about twenty-four ladies and gentlemen were present, amon°" the ladies being Mrs. Cowie. A sug^ gestion was made by the Ladies' Committee of St. Mary's Pariah that the latter part of December would prove a much more suitable time for tlie bazaar than the second week in February, since it was expected that the fleet would then be in harbour ; his Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh would also be in Auckland, and probably give his patronage to the bazaar ; besides which the town would be full of people preparing for the holidays. The ladies concerned stated that the work in progress for the bazaar would be quite ready the time mentioned ; it was therefore fixed that the 28th, 29th, and 30th December would be the days on which the bazaar would be conducted. It would be held in the New City Hall. Mr. Brady stated that Bishop Selwyn had been written to, soliciting a donation of articles appropriate for the bazaar. A letter from fche Rev. E. N. Bree was read, in which that gentleman apologised for not being present, owing to his suffering from sudden indisposition.
