VOLUNTEER INTELLIGENCE.

A Meeting of officers of the Auckland Battalion A.R.V, was held last night in the drill-shed ; and after a slight discussion the business for which they met was held over till Monday evening at the game hour. At the parade and weekly drill which followed there was an average muster j the officers present being Captains Derrom, Batger, Howell ; Lieutenants Burns, Matthews, ' Battley, McOpnnell, and others. At the parade; directions respecting the prize-firing were read, after which the men were formed for a march-out, the brass band accompanying them.
