GOLD FROM COROMANDEL.

The Pride op the Hills, Tiki.—Yesterday morning a parcel of gold, the result of a crushing for the Pride of the Hills Claim, which was put through at Wilson and Florence's new machine in that district, was deposited in the Bank of New Zealand, and melted, when it turned out a fine bar weighing lS7oz. 13dwt. 18gr. of very good quality gold. This parcel is, we are informed, the result obtained from about 70 tons of stone, and ia certainly a very satisfactory 'result. The mill ia now putting through a lot for tho Queen of the Tiki, which is likely to prove satisfactory. The "Flyin& Cloud. — A parcel weighing 17oz. 16dwt. of melted gold, the result of a crushing of 10 tons for the Flying Cloud Claim, was yesterday lodged in the Bank of New Zealand. The Al Claim also lodged a small parcel of soz. Bdwt. in the Bank of New Zealand yesterday. These parcels were brought up in the ' Lalla Rookh ' on the previous evening. — Thames Advertiser, November 3.
