AUCKLAND STOCK AND SHARE-MARKET. S. VICKERS'S REPORT.

There is very little to report this week ; little or no business done in shares. New Zealand B*nk shares are inquired for, but no sellers at present in the market. Gas sham may be quoted at £5. Kapanga Goldmining shares are not at present saleable ; a call of 10s. per share is now payable. Thames Mining shares still command attention, and doubtless we shall soon have to report them in the market.

AUCKLAND TIMBER MARKET. The following are the imports of fawn timber, &c, at this l,ort during the p«st week :—

SAWN TIMBER. From Wh%ngapoa : 32,000 ft. From Mercury Bay : 1 8,000 ft. From Kikowhaitarere : 11,700 ft. From Kennedy's Bay : 30,000 ft

PALINGS, SHINGLES, ETC. From "Wtiheke : 80,000 shingles, and 200 raili, From Pakiri : 60.000 shingles. From Puhoi : 50,000 shingles. From Mahuringi : 21,000 shingles. From Matakunn : 20,000 shingles.
