AUCKLAND STOCK AND SHARE MARKET.
MR. READER WOOD'S REPORT. The share-market has exhibited increased activity this week, as far as transactions are concerned, though without any alteration in quotations. I have sold this week same considerable parcels of Bank of New. Zealand shares at £16 10s. cum dividend ; and gai shares at par. The arrival this month of 400oz. of gold from tht Kapanga mine has checked any downward tendency in the shares of that company. BEADER WOOD. Sharebroker. Auckland, April 26, 1887.
KB. STABK'S REPORT. The share-market continues to record »n average {business. Bank of New Zealand shares are offering rather more freely, and the price* keep up to £16 10s., although there were slight indications of a reduction to £10 ss. the last few dayi. I have made sales readily this day at £10 10s. New Zealand Insurance have passed at a slight reduction ; other securities remain unaltered. The Eapanga Gold Mining Company sent up 377 ounces this morning, the proceeds {of four weeks' fuiiEhiner.
