Vernon and Gardane galloped six furlongs in 1.24. Kaitoa and Alethea recorded 1.20 for six furlongs. Bay Robe and Vivid Night were on terms at the end of a mile run in 1.01, the last three furlongs in 43. Financial ran six furlongs in 1.23 1-5. Don Mac and Our Pat finished together over six turlongs in 1.23. Theolateral, Hakim and Magic Art recorded 1.53 1-5 for a mile, the last three furlongs in 43 2-5. Lady Spiral, Claesform and Happy Ending ran seven furlongs in 1.36, the last was schooled oyer three hurdles and he jumped well.
