Gladioli, roses and other early summer flowers made the Spinsters’ Club rooms attractive and home-like for the numbers of men of the forces ,who attended yesjerday’s entertainment,- and Friday’s dance. Ping-pong, games and music were provided, and at tea time hot and col'd savouries, sandwiches, eggs, tomatoes and lettuces and homemade cakes, brought by members, were served. Some members of the “Air Force recently helped to re-decorate and paint the large kitchen in cream and military re'd, and there are red and white check curtains at the windows.
