Slips Behind Premises Four shops fronting Willis Street, opposit Chew’s Lane; were affected by a large fall of earth which came down at the. rear of their premises. Windows were broken in one case, and doors pushed in. Clearance operations, expected to cost little short of £lOO in all, were in s progress on Saturday afternoon, when the sjxiil bad to be bagged and carried through the shops to Willis Street for removal.
