HEALTH STAMPS

First Issue Tomorrow The health stamps which are 1 sold each year-end to raise funds for the maintenance of the children’s health camps will be issued for the first time this season tomorrow. The stamps, which are of the same design as last year, are in two denominations—ljd. and 3d. The lid. stamp can be used for all unsealed correspondence, accounts, Christmas cards, pamphlets and so on, the added id. going to aid the health camp movement; and the 3d. stamp provides the usual 2d. for postage and Id. for the health camps. Purchasers of health stamps on the first day of issue will be entitled to a handsome souvenir first aid cover or envelope, which incorporates a picture in two colours of children at play on a sunny beach. Already 7 an appeal has been made to the secondary schools of Wellington to assist the movement by the purchase of health stamps, and so far the response Liras been most gratifying.
