Wellington Club’s Annual Report The annual report, of the M elliugton Lawn Tennis - Club states that the membership at the end of Inst season stood at 78, 39 women and 48 nien. Congratulations; are extended to E. A. Roussel), winner of the mens singles championship for the tenth successive time; to Miss F. Fernie, who has now won the women's title on six occasions, Io Mr. B. Boyd, for his. line play in the all-Egyptian championships at Cairo; to Max Fcrkins. who won lhe Mens L lute nt the New Zealand centennial championships, the Wairarapa aud Hastings singles, and the men's doubles at. the AVaipnwa and Hastings tournaments, and other successful members of the club. The following members of of the cluo are nt present, serving either in New Zealand or in the Expeditionary I orce abroad Army: Dr. A. N. Slater (president): D. C. Coombe. J. M. llighct, D. B«\d. C. A. James, G. A. Pearce D. Purves, W. Murie, F. Reiiouf and N. H. Richards. Air Force: R. Maters. C. S. Parker and J. Lloyd. Navy: Dr. Ewart.
