Streamline Gives Bold Display Dominion Special L-ervice HAMILTON. May IL Though he was inclined to dip at his fences. Streamline gave a bold display over a round of hurdles (tour in all) in company with luness Lad at. Te Rapa this morning, while another to please in tin's department was (lie improving Gael. On the Hat the best efforts were those of Orwere, Glenbevan, aud Hunting Blood over sprint distances and Foxsen over a round. The course proper, 66ft. out, was available, and though the surface was cutting out slightly it. was nevertheless in good order, and will be in great, order for the meeting, provided further heavy rain is not experienced. Royal Sou (MeynelD, the first to work, brushed home from the three-furlong peg in 39 3-5. Maori Song (Hain), with a companion, came home irom the five-fur-long peg In .1.124. He is bearing an improved appearance. Olympus (Hall) was doing better (han Mayfair (Ramsay) over the concluding stages of five furlongs in 1.81 Olympus looks all the better for racing at Pukekohe, and. providing the going remains reasonably firm, he is not without prospects in the sprint here on Saturday. Trilliarcb (Meynell) was sent over a round, being timed to negotiate his last seven in 1.37. Gaine's - Choice (Hain) and Hunto (Watson) ran half a mile in 584. Donegal (Brown) was doing better than Stansted (Day) over the concluding stages of a round in 2.13 4-5, their first half-mile being run in 56J. Donegal looks well. Runanga (McKenzie) and Flashing Spear (Taylor) tra-. versed six furlongs in 1.23. Calorie (Ensor) was a couple of lengths in front of Hum a Song at the completion of five furlong's in 1.8. Calorie appears to be on the upgrade. A smart half-mile was credited to Hunting Blood (Brown), who, in clocking 53 1-5 for the distance, indicated that ho may be coming right again. Interest will 'attach to his showing at the approaching meeting. Acreman (Mr. Howlett). Forest Acre (Mr. Upton) aud Cafehot (Mr. Clarkin), finished in that order at the end of six furlongs in 1.23. Acreman, who won well at Pukekohe the other week should again give a solid account of himself this week. Nitbmount (Taylor) was doing better than IVtackle over half a mile in 54 3-5. Mio Lutne (Hain) and Jewelled Girdle (O. Mclnally) were associated over a round in 2.12, a useful effort for horses of their class. General Riske (Day), who will contest the Waikato Plate event on the second day, in which he will be ridden by Mr. G. Peake, ran half a mile in 56. He is looking vastly improved. An attractive five furlongs was that of Glenbevan (Ensor), who cleared away from Midland (Long) and Acute (Meynell), to run the full distance in 1.6 4-5. Glenbevan has good prospects of extending his winning account here. The best five furlongs of the morning were registered by Orwere (Long), who covered the distance in 1.6 J, his last halfmile being negotiated in 53 1-5. Wildore was to have accompanied Orwere, bur bolted a couple of times round the opposite way before L. 0. Brown was able to pull him up.
