Pianos For New Zealand (From ‘‘The Dominion,” May 14, 1015.) The war has made a big difference- to the imports of pianos into New Zealand. During last year Hie value of the pianos imported was £9-1.772, compared with £136,149 iu 1913. The Germans have suffered in this branch of trade, and it is doubtful whether they will recover the trade for years to come. * * * By the steamer Invertay, which should arrive at Wellington today, 10 lirst-class Baldwin locomotives will arrive tor the New Zealand Railways. They will be fitted tip at the Petone workshops, under the supervision of an expert sent out for the purpose. None of the new locomotives will be used on the South Island lines.
