WOMEN’S HOCKEY
Selectors Appointed At the fortnightly meeting of the management committee of the Mellingi,,n Women's; Hockey Association hist night, the following, grade selectors were appointed for the season: Senior A, Miss M. Wilkins; senior 15, Mr. b. Brugh; junior. Miss M. Kilby; intermediate, Mr. S. Lower. M ith the exception of the junior grade the selectors are the same as last year. It was decided to conduct the annual seven-a-side tournament as usual on the Kings Birthday, June 3, at Karori Park. Miss J. Yeatman was appointed tournament secretary. Entries will close on .Monday, May Permission teas granted University to conduct the New Zealand . University hockey tournament at Karori Park from May 22 to 25. The committee teas notified that they bad been granted permission to conduct an art union to raise tournament funds. A special general meeting of the association will be held on May 27, when the question of whether senior representatives should be provided with blazers and juniors with badges will be discussed.
