Irish Wrestler Joins Professional Team Reputed to be one of the must formidable dropkick exponents yet seen in New Zealand, Irish Dan O’Connor,’ the latest recruit in the Dominion Wrestling Union's team, arrived nt Wellington yesterday. He is to wrestle'here next Ylonday night against Lofty Bloinlield. O'Connor is a large, red-beaded man, 6ft. lin. and weighing 16st. 121 b. His specialties are droplocks, tackles, and a combination surfboard and leg full-nel-son. He has the Irish talent for a roughhouse, it is said. His list of mat victories’ includes decisions over Joe Savoldi, Gus Sonnenberg. Ed Don George, and Dr. Carl Sanolis, whom be dropjsicked out of action within eight seconds of the beginning of the contest.
