McKee’s Skill And Coolness LONDON, March .15. The King has decorated SquadronLeader Andrew McKee, the New Zealander who was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross. The ollieial report states that Squadron-Leader McKee “piloted a leading plane in a raid on the mouth of the Elbe and the Frisian Islands on December 14, his skill and presence of mind being a contributing factor in extricating the squadron from a most difficult position in the face of intense fire from three enemy warships.
