4 — Hawke’s Bay Pilots Postpone Flights Dominion Special Service. HASTINGS, July 30. Though the weather in Hastings yesterday was more or less back to normal, flying conditions were still sufficiently bad to necessitate the postponement of at least two aeroplane flights which were contemplated. , . The Hawke’s Bay Aero Club’s instructor, Mr. E. Harvey, and Mr. H. Miller, a pilot, hnd intended .flying to Auckland, i but the adverse weather reports caused a change of plan, and they eventually set out for Wanganui. Soon after the start, however, they encountered such strong head winds that, they turned back and abandoned the flight. .
