ALLEGATION AGAINST WOOLBUYERS

Denial By Wanganui

Brokers

Dominion Special Service WANGANUI, June 29.

“Ridiculous” was the general comment of Wanganui after they had read a report alleging that buyers at one sale in Wanganui had done practically no valuing but that their time had been spent at. golf and other, games. It was stated that the catalogue in Wanganui had Deen thoroughly inspected. The woolbrokers denied any knowledge of an argument after the sale. It was pointed out that the Wanganui catalogue was only slightly more than 24,000 bales and therefore an adequate inspection of the wool was made.
