Invitations To Be Sent Overseas RULES FOR STAMPING The council of the New Zealand Bowling Association decided at the concluding session of its annual meeting yesterday to invite to the centennial tournament, in Wellington next January teams representing the Australian Bowling Council, the Canadian Lawn Bowling Association, the Ameri can Lawn Bowling Association, and any other overseas association which might desire to be represented. .Mr, A. E. Whitten (Auckland) said the incoming executive should consider the danger of unofficial parties on tour taking precedence over official teams. He recommended that contact should be made with all associations affiliated with the International Bowling Board with the object of safeguarding the rights of official teams. It was decided that from January 1, 1940, all bowls must bear the 1931 official test stamp or a later one.

It was stated that the engraving of dises after testing had no prejudicial effect on the draw of bowls.
