Progress Of Alterations Dominion Special Service. WANGANUI, January 25. Good progress is being made with alterations to the existing building of the Wanganui Post. Office to provide a right-of-way for a mail dock, and it is hoped to have the work finished in about three weeks. Alterations at the gas company’s old office, which is to accommodate the postal and parcels branch pending the building of the new post office, will be finished this week, and it is hoped that the transfer of the staff will be made early .next week. The postal branch will be upstairs, and parcels on the ground floor.
