North Island Lamb Competition Dominion Special Service. Cable advice was received yesterday by the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board from its London manager that the board’s silver challenge shield for the North Island district lamb competition had been won by Wairarapn. Feilding district was placed second, Waikato third, and Maltuwatu fourth. Individual prizes were won as foliotvs: First prize, £l5: Waikato pen No. 316 (J. S. Thomas). . Second prize, £10: Feilding, pen No. 51 (J. Si. Campbell). Third prize, £5: Wairarapa,, pen No. 17 (P. R. Welch). Highly commended: Wanganui, peu No. -10 (J. Wilson).
