PANTRY AFTERNOON
Mrs H. F. Muir and Air's. Errol Muir were joint hostesses recently at a delightful “pantry afternoon” at the residence of Mrs. 11. F. Muir. Ilautana Street, Lower Hutt. The guest of honoijr was Miss June Wilson, whose marriage to Mr. B. Mirams will take place this month. Airs. 11. F. Muir wore a frock of beige lace, and Mrs. Errol Muir wore navy and white sheer. Tire guest of honour wore tin American ensemble of brown and white. The drawing-room was gaily decorated with bowls of roses and sweet peas. After tea had been served the bride-elect opened the parcels containing many useful gifts, and she thanked the guests and hostesses for a very delightful party. Items were given by Mesdames L. and C. Muir, and Mrs. Liebeziet. Competitions were won by Mrs. O. Turner, Miss N. Senior, Mips Leslie Muir, Miss May Maryin and Mrs. C. Muir. zYmong those present were Alesdamta Wilson, N.
