A SHIPPING OCCASION

Mr. G. Al. AVarren. of Liverpool, assistant passenger manager of Canard AVhite Star Ltd., yesterday entertained a number of representatives of overseas shipping lines at a cocktail party at the Hotel Waterloo. Among those present were Mr. Warwick C. Gregory, local director of the Port Line Ltd., and Mr. C. E. Holmes, Wellington manager of Dalgety nud Co., Ltd. _ Air. AVarren, who is making bis second visit to New Zealand, has completed a tour of the South Island and wil leave today for Auckland, accompanied bv Airs. AVarren. They will spend Christmas in Rotorua and will leave Auckland by the Aorangi ou December 27 ou their return to England.
