SHERRY PARTY

For The Plunket Ball Among rhe many parties given before the Plunket Ball on Friday night was a delightful sherry party, at which Miss June Bell and Miss Patricia Hogg were hostesses. The dining-room and drawing-room of Miss Bell’s home at Hataitai, where the party was held, were decorated with spring flowers. Masses of pink camellias were arranged in floating bowls, and there were vases of yellow jonquils and maidenhair fern. Miss Bell and Miss Hogg received their guests, the former In a frock of dusky pink chiffon and the latter in shaded green taffeta. Sherry and other drinks were served, and numerous savouries to accompany them.
