BASKETBALL DANCE

Enjoyment At Kelburn

A very delightful dance was held at the Kelburn Kiosk on Saturday night by the Wellington Basket-ball Association, when the main attraction on the programme was the announcement of the senior A, senior B, and third grade representative teams, which are published in full in our sports columns. Good music and a delightful buffet supper helped to make the night a thoroughly enjoyable one. The executive of the association which formed the committee responsible for the successful organisation of the dance was as follows:—Mrs. H. Symons, president of the Wellington association (shot blue silk), Mrs. H. D. Muir, president of the New Zealand association (gold marocain with brown trimmings), Mesdames V. Allen (wine lace), A. Muir (navy sheer crepe), A. Hennessev (black and gold tunic frock), Misses J. Mitchell (skirt with tunic top of paisley), V. Stone (pink taffetas), P. McGoldrick (green patterned chiffon), M.
