Gisborne Cattle Fair
Dominion Special Service. Gisborne, May 25. On the first day of the Gisborne May cattle fair the entry of males totalled 3700 stores and SO fats. 9'he store market opened poorly, livening up after half an hour. Thence values approximated last fair's. Realisations were as follows: Bullocks, one pen £9/10/-. three pens £9 to £9/5/-, generally £B/5/- upward: 2J-year steers. Hutchinson Bros.’ annual draft of 320 Herefords. £B/10/-. being an outstanding line: others steers, same age £7 to £B. many above £7/10/-: 20-month steers £5/7/6 to £6/12/-, ninny £6 upward, fairly good £4/12/-: good station cows £6 to £6/15/-, bullocks £9/11/-.
