PROTEST BY POLAND
Attitude Of French Press London, March 24. The resentment at foreign newspaper comment, which is now increasingly fashionable in Europe, resulted in a Polish Note of protest to France, complaining of the attitude of the French Press toward Poland regarding the Lithuanian crisis.
Another instance is provided' by the Italian publicist, Dr. Virglnio Gayda, in an article in the “Giornale d’ltalia.” He attacks French newspapers, which contrast Signor Mussolini’s former policy with his ' disregard to the annexation of Austria. Signor Gayda suggests that Italy’s previous assistance to Austria was given when France and Czechoslovakia were attempting economic aggression against Austria. A message from Poland states' that the campaign of terror against the Jews has become more intensified. Thousands of Jews are fleeing from Danzig owing to the harsh antLSemitic measures. The return of Polish Jews to Poland ‘will soon become impossible.
A Bill has been introduced in the Polish Diet to deprive of the Polish nationality those who have lived for a long time abroad.
