To-day’s Big Steeplechase FORTY HORSES ACCEPT Forty horses made the final acceptance for the Grand National Steeples, to be run at Aintree, Liverpool, to-day. Therefore the field should be up to- the average of recent years, but if all went to the post, which is improbable, the number would by no means constitute a record. In 19-9 Gregalach won from 65 others, in the two following years the starters numbered 41 aud 43 respectively, and last year there were 35. Details ore :—
