ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL
—♦ Diamond Club Meeting There was an attendance of about 50 members at the annual meeting of the Diamond Football Club, held recently, with the president, Mr. A. G. Barnett, in the chair. The finances of the club were shown to be iu a satisfactory condition. Officers for the ensuing season were elected as follows:—President, Mr. A. G. Barnett; secretary, Mr. B. Hooker; assistant secretary, Mr. W. Hopper; treasurer, Mr. M. Davidson; club captain, Mr. T. Wotherspoou; management committee, Messrs. Dick, Geddis, Ewing, Osten, Alexander, Du Feu, O’Leary; auditor. Mr. 11. Arcus; delegates to the ■Wellington Football Association, Messrs. Ewiiig, Hooker, Ballard; nominees for seats on Wellington Football Association, senior, Mr. C. Ballard, junior, Mr. G. Morgan.
The poor facilities for training were emphasised, and tile hope expressed that the Wellington Football Association would be able to assist more in this respect in future.
