The countries of the Empire could be cijmmuiiicated with now arid their pldnts, forwarded in good time, sriid Sirs. Knox Gilmer. . She had seen such an exhibition at Chelsea List year, but never a poorer display qf New Zealand plants, she Said. They had been grown under glass, hastily got together, and in the heat,of the exhibition tent showed up poorly. If such a show were held again she would like to ste ample notice given to the exhibiting countries. New Zealand had the finest native flora in this part of the world, and ah exhibition of the sort she suggested would be fitting during the centenary. . . Mts. Kriox Gilmer urged all interested in the centennial flower show to prepare now, next year would be too late. They wanted to make the show something to be remembered by New Zealanders and overseas visitors.
