SAFE STOLEN
Robbery At Wyridharii

During the early hours of this morning a safe was stolen from the business premises of Mr. M. Tangney, hairdresser and tobacconist, at Wyndham. The safe contained only a few notes and silver amounting to just over £5. Two doors were prised open by jemmies and the tracks of a trolly similar to those used for carting bags of grain and manures made it clear how the safe had been removed from the shop.
