Toe H Annual Dance The annual dance of the Hutt Valley branch of Toe H, at the Horticultural Hall, Lower Hutt, ou Thursday evening, was an outstanding success. There was an attendauce of approximately 406 young people, many of whom came from Wellington and the surrounding districts. The hostesses for the evening were Mrs. W. Nash, who wore a frock of black georgette with a squirrel eoat; Mrs. J. W. Andrews, mayoress of Lower Hutt, in wine marocain and a fur coat; Mrs. A. A. Davies, black marocain ; Mrs. A. R. Hillman, floral georgette; Miss B. Barker, blue lace; Miss Marjorie Barker, red lace; Miss Lois Mair, primrose organdie; Miss Evelyn Stowers, green georgette. The committee responsible for the success of the dance consisted of Messrs. J. Olphert, J. Davies, and Saunders. Mr. U. Dawson was the master of ceremonies.

Multi-coloured balloons, scattered among the dancers from a huge white inverted bell suspended from the centre of the ceiling, added to the fun of the evening.
