SHIP NOT SHELLED
Statement by Admiralty (Received July 24, 12.45 a.m.) London. July 23. Referring to the British steamer ■Macgregor being fired on by rebel warships, the Admiralty states that the ship was not shelled. The Almirante Cervcra only fired three shots across her bows in an attempt to stop her.
