Italian Airman’s Feat Rome. May 9. Lieutenant-Colonel Mario Pczzi reached a height of 51.639 feet in a specially-constructed Capron! biplane, beating the British record of 49,967 feet set by Squadron Leader F. R. D. Swain, R.A.F., in 1936.
