■London Markets Quiet The Department of Agriculture has received the following cablegram, tinted May 8, from the High Commissioner for New Zealand, I.ondon :— Tallow: Market, very quiet at about 6d. below last week's rates. Hemp: Manila—Market steady; better tone at the close. “K” grade for April-June shipments sold £33. Sisal: Market quiet anil easier; closing values for June-Aug-ust shipments, £2B/17/6. New Zealand: Nothing to' report.
