Legislation to Regulate Closing Times The Minister of Labour, Hon. H. T. Armstrong, reported to the Labour Barty conference yesterday that he is preparing legislation relating to the closing times of shops and offices. The conference approved a recommendation that business concerns and other organisations affected should make representations to the Minister informing him of their wishes in this respect.
