PALESTINE SITUATION

Division of Troops Withdrawn (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, November 17. Asked whether the expeditionary force sent to Palestine because of the situation caused by the general strike of Arabs would be now withdrawn, seeing that the strike had been terminated, the Minister of War, Mr. O. Duff-Cooper, said that orders had been issued for the withdrawal of one division. Further withdrawals would depend on the situation in Palestine.
